I got more lean.
I know, it's craziness.
About four weeks ago, I started upping my carb intake basically because I decided I wanted to bulk and add muscle. And yes, at first I was terrified. I thought I was going to balloon up like a whale, it's true.
But I seem to be more lean. Or at the least, I stayed the same.
I also may have gotten stronger in this period too because my squat PR is now 195 and I pulled 260 for deadlifts the other day. Miracles happen when you eat the carbs.
So there's no reason to be afraid of eating carbohydrates, they won't make you fat, just make sure all the other macros are there too!
